Huh, Luke's hand
One day I'll write about the more premium of the 1/6 scale figures I've been picking up, but until then, just the odd picture or so.

Robocop and Figma
Everybody went and got the Figma Metroid figure, so I wanted to play too. But I don't really care about Samus, so I went and got Figma Robocop instead. Let's see if I enjoy these "rather expensive for a 5 inch figure" toys.
Out of the box and it's pretty neat. a little flimsier than I would have expected, but otherwise good. I really love the posability of the figure and its sturdy enough not to need its figure-stand. On the downside, I have trouble getting some of the accessories to stick properly and I don't even want to try messing with the figure to put in the alternate leg pieces. I can't find the steams or figure out the proper way to pop the thigh parts off. I worry I'm going to break it. Otherwise I kinda like this.
But, I'm interested in what you can do with this scale, so I picked up one of the Figma Ride vehicles. In this case an amusement park Bear Car. How does Robocop look on it.
Hmm... Not perfectly to scale, but close enough. What about some other 5 inch figures?
Huh. So that's a thing.

Election Day
It's election day. I'd ask you to vote, but if you'd vote for whoever I don't want to win then I'd feel like a fool. So vote, but only if you plan to vote like me. And hopefully you have some sort of telepathy, because I'm not telling you how I'm voting.

The Band!
If you're wondering what I've been doing with all the 1:6 scale figures I've been amassing lately, this is the answer.

AT-RT with ARF Trooper
Nothing says aesthetically pleasing but functionally ridiculous more than an AT walker. It's like the Steampunk of Star Wars. The only thing more ridiculous is a brown on bright white camouflage pattern. Seriously, the trooper looks like he was splattered with poop.
So obviously I got this because I like AT vehicles, even if they are silly. And even then because it was discounted. And even further then because I was looking for a 4" scale vehicle for Ghost Rider to ride.

Barbie MyScene Scooter
I bought a Barbie MyScene Vespa scooter off of eBay. Why?
Because some Barbie accessories are in scale with 12 inch figures! (Although not so the Barbie clothing, which is a shame.)

Lego Minifigrues Series 6
So everyone with a toy blog and their mother with a toy blog is posting their pics and reviews and whatnot of the latest series of Lego minifigures. So I will too. This is the first wave where I wanted everything. So hey, that's $50.
Incidentally, I like how they used a darker plastic on the t-joint of the alien to imply that he's not naked.
And instead of reviewing or analyzing anything, here's a picture of some mash-ups I did with the figures. My favorite is the Stepford Wife Lego figure. But Alien Doctor with anal probe is also cool.

Sam Flynn + Tron Arcade
Well hello there Target Discount Aisle, what have you got for me today? 75% off Tron miniatures? I dunno, anything interesting... hey, what's that? Is that a Tron arcade console?
Why I believe it is. But is it in scale with 3 inch figures? Like Playmobil?
Ah, I see it is. Excellent. Then I will buy it. And it shall be posed with a concert pianist, who we shall pretend plays arcade machines like an instrument.
Which means he

Even Groundbreaking Writers Need Technologically Advanced Protection
Fully aware of the dangers of the world, Edgar Allen Poe places himself in an ImagiNext Mech suit. Once the canopy goes down he is fully protected by the robot casing, unless someone shoots him with an arrow through those windows. They really ought to put some sort of glass in those things.
But now. encased in his protective armor, he doesn't have to fear things like killer orangutans. The only thing that can hurt him now is the darkness that lies within him. Fortunately those claws open up so he can grasp a very large pencil and write out his anguish and torments.

Red Ranger has to explain to Jeff Goldblum that he can't be the new Black Ranger
This picture is in direct response to Dan's challenge. Of course I only have 2 Power Rangers, so I had to improvise and create my own Power Rangers team. Action Ranger's Power Rangers?
Either way, ball's in your court now Dan.
Oh snap! If I had the crappy Comissioner Gordon figure from the Infinite Heroes line I could have made him... COMMISSIONER ZORDON!

Sniper Barbie would like to have a word
Actually that's Seattle Supersonics Barbie in a Sniper uniform. But same difference.
Oh yeah, I've decided I'm just going to post weird pictures of some of my toys every now and then.
