Cheese Sandwich with Party Tank

Let's review: they made an action figure of Weird Al Yankovic's My Little Pony character (whose butt mark is both a grilled cheese sandwich and an accordion) and it comes with a tank that really shoots tiny rubber chickens.

Hell yes I'll get one. Oh and the figure has 9 points of articulation? Neat!

Loopster

So this Hot Wheels Roller Coaster car can be attached with other similar cars, but the little plastic people riding it are in different poses in different cars to simulate the randomness of an entire line of cars with different people in them!

I must find more!

Slippy Toad

I can't believe there was a market for this guy. So is the question: why did they make this or why would I buy it? Completionism? Then I might have to admit that I have. Problem.

Shark Bite

The coolest part of this Hot Wheel is that the jaw opens and closes as it rolls along. Neat!

Yay, shopping

I found a Sky-Lynx at a Japanese Grocery store on sale. Because why not?

Disney minifigures

I've stopped following you news, so these came out of left field to me. They're kinda cool. I like the new pieces they have to make for these figures, but I don't know how much I want to get more of them. I kinda just want to find a Donald and then stop. The problem is that squeezing to find a Donald is super hard because his accessories and body and head are almost identical to Daisy's. Super easy to screw up. Thank god they didn't do Huey, Dewey and Louie.

TMNT poster

Anyone else notice what's weird about this 3D poster?

Yup, it's a poster of TMNT action figures. So that's a thing they're doing now.

Lego minifigures series 15

I'm getting a little bored with Lego minifigures, possibly due to 15 blind packed waves of annoying squeezing. I still want the semi-stereotyped Asian figures (hence the kendo guy), the people wearing costumes (hence shark guy) and weird looking pieces (hence the queen with a giant poofy dress).

But considering what a pain in the butt it was finding the shark guy I would totally be cool if Lego only did these things once a year.

Winnie

So if this is from the Disney Planes line, does it count as a Disney Cars figure? Either way, I'm just amused they made a Winnebago. And they made the wheels the same as the Cars so this will technically work on any track the Cars can go down... So the potential for loop-de-loops is there!

Star Wars Epic Battles Medals

Anyone else participate in the Toys R Us epic battles online game? I passed during the Christmas season because I really didn't need to play another online game. Then they brought it back to get rid of the extra medals and I decide to try it. Turns out it's just a Where's Waldo type hidden picture and you only need to find 5 things to get the certificate you trade in for the medal at the store. So really this was more a hunt for a location that still had all the medals.

Can't beat free.

Superheroes

I saw these generic brick figures at Target. Hilarious Lego Avengers knock-off figures. Bowl Cut Thor! Low Rise Jeans Hulk! Whatever the hell the Iron Man figure is supposed to be!

Shy Guy

I wasn't certain how to feel about the entry of Shy Guy in the world of Nintendo line of figures. I really like the mini figure from the K'nex line of figures, but the world of Nintendo figure is out of scale with the other WoN figures and has limited articulation. But seeing it in person I knew I had to get it because it's a giant Shy Guy and that is awesome. Plus it turns out that it has more than three points of articulation because each of its feet are cut joints, so really it has five points of articulation even if two of them are very limited. But if world of Nintendois willing to count a head that doesn't move as a point of articulation they might as well count this as well.
